Training on lobster handling in Listiguj – in English

Captains and fisher helpers on lobster boats will learn best practices for handling, storing, and transporting lobsters in order to deliver live catches in good condition and of high quality to buyers.

The training also covers methods for returning lobster to the water in a manner that protects the resource, as well as basic lobster biology, to understand the precautions that need to be taken. This half-day course can benefit both novice and experienced crews.
